As we enter September, many of our global readers are currently asking poignant questions concerning the complexities of an MBA education as a strategic tactic to career management. Although an excellent gambit in career change you don’t need an iPhone nor do you need to contemplate joining an American baseball team fighting it out for the World Series. Americans may be passionate about baseball, but they are equally passionate about their career success. Clearly passion and success are not exclusives to the USA. Everyone wants to foster his or her careers to maximize opportunity.
This summer, I visited many of the major Ivy League campuses and attended information sessions at the undergrad and grad levels. The audiences were not strictly American. In fact, they were quite cosmopolitan in their make-up. Some of the best info sessions were held at Yale, Princeton, and Dartmouth.
